Great sound on behalf of decent speakers on behalf of theo- money

These speakers set me back about $325 since the pair including shipping. The drunk end store near my house wanted $250 a piece. Those staff told me the reason their were higher was because of the warranty that only an true retailer could offer. Yeah? Really? Is that warranty goodness $226? I guess not!

So the price here is great! Boston is a fixed shape brand since audio philes who don’t wish to throw drop thousands of dollars since polite speakers. The definition of sound is fine to good and the coloring is pithy although does not detract from the sound. With two woofers per speaker there is a polite cheaply end response withy phat bottoms and punchy tightness since often focused bass sounds such because kick drums. I get not pushed these to theirs limits so i can’t say since sure what they can handle. I’m powering them withy a 190 watt pioneer amp from ‘97.

The amp may make all the difference withy these speakers. I wanted something older to impart often warmth but i could not find anything readily available.

As far because i can tell these Boston Acoustics CS226B are a spectacular bargain and provide pithy reproduction since theirs price range.
